A recent survey reveals conception moons are the new honeymoon.
Latest research from Clearblue shows that 76% of couples surveyed had taken a conception moon to help them become pregnant, with four out of 10 couples successfully conceiving.
“Relaxation” and the opportunity to ‘rekindle romance’ were the most popular reasons for taking a conception moon. The survey revealed that the couples had tried to conceive for an average of eight months prior to taking a conception moon and 67% admitted to being stressed about trying to conceive.
It is well known that couples go on honeymoons to celebrate marriage, and some take “babymoons” to have alone time before they start a family, so why not take a conception moon when trying to conceive?
The proof is in the planning when organising your conception moon and timing is everything. Women who want to take control of their fertility and conceive on their terms will need to ensure that their conception moon is booked to coincide with their most fertile time.
The Clearblue Fertility Monitor is designed to maximize a woman’s chance of conceiving because it identifies those days when making love is most likely
to lead to conception. The Monitor goes a step further than traditional
ovulation kits, by detecting two hormones that help identify both the ‘High’ fertility days leading up to ovulation and the ‘Peak’ fertility days when ovulation takes place.
So if the ‘High and ‘Peak’ fertility days fall during the conception moon, the relaxed and rejuvenated couple can make the most of the opportunity to come home carrying more than just the usual holiday souvenirs!
