Johanna (mum to James – aged 6, Housewife to Chad – aged ?, and dog walker to Barney – aged 1) has come a long way since the initial concept of the ‘nappy cake’ in 2005!
Johanna had seen the design on Sex & the City and, after some internet research, realised these cakes were only available in Australia and America. One of the first to introduce the nappy cakes into the UK, the cakes went down a storm with expectant mothers as they combined the necessities of dozens of nappies with individual quality baby toys, cotton baby clothing and more. Since then Johanna has reduced many new mums to tears (of joy) after they have received one of her unique but somewhat quirky baby cakes. They certainly create a talking point at baby group.
Johanna says, “More than ever, we see gift sets everywhere, from perfume counters to supermarkets. But while we love the contents of the gift set, there’s sometimes a niggling thought that our nearest and dearest could have used a little more imagination…
“My Pamper Cake aims to offer just that, something unusual and unique, gifts you won’t find in the high street stores, with exceptional high quality items and high safety standards, especially for our baby products.”
Johanna soon realised the huge potential in designing the Pamper Cake – a brand new innovative product brought to the gift industry in 2008. The Pamper Cake provides a stunning alternative, from hen nights to weddings, from children’s birthdays to teenage pampering. Chocolate lovers will even find a range to suit.
The stunning range of Pamper Cakes and Nappy Cakes give you the best of both worlds: all the lavish guilt-free pampering you could hope to give away but with a strong streak of individuality and creative thought. Each non-edible cake is built using luxury towels or nappies and includes a selection of presents and accessories inserted artfully into the design as well as a handwritten message in your own words.
My Pamper Cake offers a quick turnaround, including next day delivery throughout the UK (including hospitals), so last minute memory recall needn’t result in a tired bunch of flowers from a petrol station. You can shop online, in a secure environment, the customer service is excellent and they really do go out of their way to make sure you’re happy.
Without question, the cakes not only give you satisfaction to give and receive, but convenience too.
