If you are struggling with debt, don’t panic and do get help. Ignoring bills and increasing charges will only make things worse. Talk to your creditors and tell them you are having trouble, and give them an opportunity to help you out. Not talking to them leaves them in the dark, and means they will be more likely to take aggressive action against you.
